The EMME Project
Our mission
We supply critical materials to power the European electric mobility, for a more sustainable automotive industry.
The EMME project stems from the conviction that electric mobility can only be sustainable and credible if the critical materials it employs are extracted, processed and recycled locally and in compliance with the highest environmental standards.
Our international team of industry professionals, investors, engineers and researchers, is committed to building an industrial base and to foster technical skills here in France, in the service of a circular economy for electric mobility.
The Battery Supply Chain
EMME is currently positioned at Stage 2 of the battery supply chain: Refined materials.
Our ambition is also to take charge of Stage 6 : recycling and re-use.
The stakes
Develop the capacity and know-how needed to produce quality materials for batteries
Reduce the carbon footprint of quality materials for EV batteries
The EMME project is in line with the European Raw materials act of March 16, 2023, which aims to secure European supply chains for critical materials, as well as with the France 2030 plan, which seeks to position France as a major player in electric mobility.
The EMME project meets the criteria for green industries as defined by the Green Industry Act and is on the provisional list of National Projects of Major Interest.
